M&E Project Manager - Student Accommodation Scheme, Kingston

Salary: 70,000 - 75,000 per annum
Location: Kingston, London (Initial two months based in Essex)

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced M&E Project Manager to oversee a high-value student accommodation scheme in Kingston, London, with a total M&E package value of 6 million. This role will act as the crucial link between installation teams and Contract Managers, ensuring smooth communication and seamless project delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Project Leadership: Lead and manage M&E teams throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring timelines, budgets, and quality standards are met.
  • Package Management: Oversee individual project packages, ensuring all installations meet the required specifications.
  • Commercial Awareness: Manage project financials, ensuring accurate budgeting, forecasting, and procurement. Provide key insights into cost control and efficiency measures.
  • Stakeholder Liaison: Act as the primary contact between the installation teams and Contract Managers, ensuring clear communication and collaborative working practices.
  • Site Management: Ensure all health and safety regulations are adhered to on-site, and that all work is conducted in line with company and industry standards.
  • Problem-Solving: Proactively identify and resolve issues that may impact project progress or quality, ensuring any challenges are swiftly addressed.
  • Compliance: Ensure the project adheres to all relevant legal and regulatory requirements, including building codes, environmental regulations, and health and safety laws.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in M&E project management.
  • Strong commercial acumen with a focus on financials, processes, and procurement.
  • Ability to lead and manage teams effectively.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Flexible to work out of the Essex office for the first two months before relocating to the Kingston project site.
