Do you have experience in the Water and Civil sectors? 

My client a main contractors looking for an Assistant Project Manager to join them on  Water projects in South London covering the Thames Water area.

This is an excellent  opportunity to work within the Water/Utilities sector  starting on a contract basis with a view to become more permanent for the right person paying up to £50,000 per annum.

The ideal person will be supported by the Project Manager and Senior Project Manager where you will  develop a  project plan to monitor and track progress. Prepare and design the project implementation plans (PIP)

The successful candidate will ensure that all construction projects comply with relevant Client requirements, regulations, and industry standards. This includes obtaining all necessary permits and licenses.

Responsibilities include.

  • Develop comprehensive project plans, including scope, timelines, resource allocation, and budgeting, for multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Coordinate project activities, tasks, and deliverables to ensure timely execution and achievement of project objectives.
  • Implement effective project management methodologies and best practices to optimize project efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Attend Startup meetings
  • Engage with P6 planning team to update programme on a regular basis
  • Allocate and manage resources effectively to optimize productivity and reduce waste.


Skills, Experience and Knowledge Requirements.

  • Knowledge of relevant management techniques (resource management, monitoring and control, Cost Planning and Programme Management)
  • Awareness of clean and dirty water networks
  • Water and Civil experience
