An organic food company based in Kingston are on the looking for a switched on and organised Operations

Team Leader to join their growing team.

The ideal candidate will be highly organised, possess strong leadership skills, and have experience in handling various aspects of operations within a fast-paced environment.

Operations Team Leader Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and manage the daily order processing activities to ensure timely and accurate order fulfilment.
  • Ensure that orders are processed according to company guidelines and customer specifications.
  • Troubleshoot order-related issues and collaborate with relevant teams to resolve any discrepancies.
  • Oversee the accurate creation and issuance of customer invoices.
  • Lead the team in handling claims related to damaged goods & delivery discrepancies.
  • Investigate and resolve claims in a timely and customer-focused manner, ensuring compliance with company policies.
  • Work closely with suppliers, shipping companies, and internal teams to prevent future claims and improve overall service quality.
  • Monitor stock levels to ensure optimal inventory levels are maintained.
  • Reconcile physical stock with inventory systems.
  • Coordinate with the rest of the purchasing and sales team to ensure stock availability aligns with demand and order requirements.

Operations Supervisor Specification:

  • Strong leadership and team management skills with the ability to motivate and develop others.
  • Excellent organisational, time management, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to work under pressure and prioritise tasks effectively.
  • Strong attention to detail with a focus on accuracy and quality.
  • Strong skills in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook) and order management systems (ERP).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal.
  • A degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field is preferred.
