Our Client has a requirement for a Project HSE Engineer, who will be required to work on a contract basis (Outside IR35) in Kingston.

Role Purpose:

  • Ensure that all project engineering and operational activities adhere to Client HSE Requirements, HSE Standards, applicable local legislation, and international standards (ISO 14001 and OHSAS 18001).
  • Participate in accident and incident investigations.
  • Engage in HSE Risk Management activities.

Job Role Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement Project HSE plans and procedures throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Plan and conduct HSE audits and reviews for the project team and subcontracted activities.
  • Assist project engineering and management teams in the Risk Management process, including HAZOP, HAZID, Hazard and Effect Management Process, and Risk Assessment.
  • Document project-specific environmental aspects and impacts, along with related management measures.
  • Liaise with vessel HSE personnel to ensure compliance and safety.
  • Provide HSE support and advice to vessel management and HSE personnel.

Experience / Skills / Knowledge / Qualifications:

  • Relevant experience in HSE roles, particularly within the engineering and construction sectors.
  • Strong understanding of HSE legislation and standards.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
