The Role:

Are you a positive and adaptable SEND teaching assistant looking for flexible work within SEND Schools in Kingston? As a Supply Teaching Assistant with Academics, you will have the opportunity to work within a fantastic school located in the Kingston area where you will be comfortable working in different classrooms to provide tailored support to individual children.

Key Responsibilities:

- Provide exceptional support to SEND children both 1:1 and in groups

- Adapting to various school environments and teaching methods.

- Engaging with students to foster a positive learning atmosphere.

- Collaborate with teachers and other staff members to implement development plans

- Help pupils develop their social and emotional skills, promoting their overall well-being

To apply for this SEND Teaching assistant role you will require:

- Previous experience working with pupils with special educational needs is preferred.

- A genuine passion for making a positive impact on the lives of pupils with SEND.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with pupils, parents, and colleagues.

- Patience, empathy, and flexibility to adapt to the changing needs of pupils.

- Either live in Kingston or within a commutable distance

Please note this is a temporary role that eventually could lead to a permanent position in the future. You must have an Enhanced DBS on the update service or be willing to apply for now to be considered for this position. Please note you must be able to commute to Uxbridge on a daily basis quickly.
