My client a Social Housing contractor are looking for a Roofer responsible for repairing, and maintaining roofs on residential Social Housing properties.

You will be working with a Roofers mate.

The role will cover predominantly Kingston South London.

The role is mobile and therefore a full UK driving licence will be required.

A van fuel card and PDA will be provided.

Job Overview: As a roofer, working on the Repairs and Reactive Team you will be responsible for ensuring the integrity and durability of roofs on Social Housing properties. This includes installing repairing existing ones, and conducting routine maintenance to prevent issues.

Responsibilities:

Repair: Identify and repair leaks, damaged shingles, and other roofing issues. Replace or repair sections of the roof as needed.
Inspection: Conduct thorough roof inspections to assess the condition and identify potential problems. Provide recommendations for maintenance or repairs.
Safety: Adhere to safety standards and guidelines when working at heights. Use safety equipment and take necessary precautions to prevent accidents
Customer Service: Communicate with clients to understand their roofing needs, address concerns, and provide information on recommended repairs or replacements.
Weatherproofing: Apply weatherproofing materials to roofs to enhance durability and protection against the elements.

Working Hours:

8am - 5pm

42.5 hours PAID

30 MINUTES UNPAID lunch
