Uniformed Protective Services Teacher

We are seeking a dedicated BTEC Teacher to deliver high-quality education in Uniformed Protective Services. This role involves engaging students through effective teaching practices, developing resources, and actively participating in curriculum development. The ideal candidate will be enthusiastic about fostering student success and representing the college's values both internally and externally.
Day-to-day of the role:
- Teach BTEC Uniformed Protective Services, ensuring effective learning outcomes for all students.
- Plan and prepare high-quality teaching sessions and learning materials.
- Develop and share educational resources tailored to the course.
- Maintain accurate and comprehensive records of student progress using college systems.
- Act as a personal tutor, supporting students across their entire programme.
- Maintain close communication with colleagues to ensure a cohesive educational environment.
- Engage in curriculum development and planning activities, both individually and as part of a team.
- Represent the college positively at all times, both internally and externally.
Required Skills & Qualifications:

Qualifications:
- 4 GCSEs or equivalent including Maths and English at Grade C/4 or above.
- Degree in a relevant subject area or appropriate professional qualification.
- Recognised teaching qualification (or a willingness to achieve one within the first 3 years of appointment).
- A higher degree or advanced qualification (desirable).

Experience and Knowledge:
- Successful teaching experience in Uniformed Protective Services.
- Knowledge of and proven ability to deliver the curriculum successfully.
- Recent industrial experience (desirable).
- Experience of delivering BTEC programmes (desirable).
