We have a fantastic opportunity to join a SEND school as a SEND Support Worker. This will be a full time role from Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 4pm. The school caters exclusively to primary SEND pupils and has great pride in its inclusive, multi-sensory, and motivating approach to teaching. The role will include personal care.
The Role:
- Provide 1-1 support to children with SEND as a SEND Support Worker
- As a SEND Support Worker you will need to assist children during their therapy sessions
- Help prepare learning resources and activities as a SEND Support Worker
- Willing to support the needs of the students is essential to being a SEND Support Worker
Requirements:
- Previous experience as a SEND Support Worker in a SEND setting in the UK is Ideal
- Previous experience working with primary SEND students
- Previous experience in childcare within the UK is essential
- Enhanced DBS is essential but we can help you process one if you do not have one currently
- Excellent communication skills to engage with pupils effectively is vital as a SEND Support Worker
