We are seeking a Work Experience Coordinator for a role in Kingston. This part-time, temporary position offers an immediate start and involves helping students find short-term opportunities in various industries to inform their career decisions. The role also includes supporting students in gaining ‘on the job’ skills and experience necessary for vocational qualifications.

Day-to-day of the role:
  • Assist students in identifying and approaching potential work experience providers.
  • Support students in securing work placements that provide relevant ‘on the job’ skills and experience.
  • Work alongside specialist professionals to ensure risk assessments are completed and that work settings are safe and accessible.
  • Provide ongoing management and support for students during their work placements.
  • Collaborate with educational staff to align work experience opportunities with students’ career aspirations and curriculum requirements.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Proven experience in coordinating work experience or placement programs.
  • Strong understanding of vocational qualifications such as T-Levels or Apprenticeships.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with students, employers, and educational staff.
  • Ability to conduct risk assessments and ensure the safety and accessibility of work settings.
  • Organisational skills to manage multiple placements and provide structured support.
