Salary: 39,951 - 40,614 + Retention

Role Overview:

We are seeking Qualified Social Workers for our Support and Family Safeguarding service, supporting young people in all safeguarding concerns. You'll be leading in the identification of needs, pathway planning, and offering direct support to young individuals to help them achieve their goals.

Our Client pays close attention to looking after their Social Workers and strive to ensure they feel supported and welcomed in their roles. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a stable working environment with experienced leadership, whilst receiving regular supervision and training opportunities.

The responsibilities of the Social Worker includes:

  • Safeguarding and promoting children's welfare in compliance with legislation, including the Children Acts 1989 and 2004, Children and Families Act 2014, and "Working Together to Safeguard Children" guidance.
  • Managing cases in line with statutory and departmental policies, while maintaining the highest professional standards.
  • Conducting investigations, risk assessments, and decision-making regarding child safety and wellbeing.
  • Providing clear, high-quality written reports for various meetings, including child protection conferences, reviews, and court purposes.
  • Continuously reflecting on their practice, identifying learning needs, and utilizing supervision for professional development.

To ideal candidate will have:

  • Social Work England registration
  • Eligibility to work in the UK (We offer Sponsorships if needed)
  • Social Work qualified (MA/BSc/DPSW/CQSW/MSc/BA)
