P4 Recrutiment are recruiting on behalf of a respected client for a Social Worker to join their Adolescent Safeguarding Team in Kingston and Richmond.

In this vital role, you will deliver high-quality interventions using our clients social work practice model, Signs of Safety, ensuring that adolescents are safeguarded from harm, while supporting parents and careers to nurture and protect their children. You will also play a key role in protecting the public where youth offending is concerned.

You will be expected to represent our clients at multi-agency meetings and work collaboratively with various stakeholders to ensure a child focused, flexible, and adaptable service. Innovation, partnership, and continuous learning will be central to your approach as you help lead a culture that puts children’s well being at the heart of everything we do.

Responsibilities

Deliver high-quality social work interventions using good practice model and quality standards.

Ensure adolescents are protected from harm, while supporting parents/carers to strengthen their parenting capacity.

Engage in multi-agency meetings to ensure effective safeguarding and risk management.

Develop care and support plans tailored to the needs of young people and their families.

Work restoratively with adolescents and their families, ensuring all safeguarding practices are in line with legislative frameworks.

Qualifications? Educated to degree level with a social work qualification and Social Work England registration? Evidence of continuing professional development

About You

We are looking for a highly skilled and compassionate professional with the following:

Qualifications:

Degree in Social Work and Social Work England registration.

Evidence of continuing professional development.

Skills and Experience:

Proven experience managing complex social work, including robust risk management for adolescents.

Strong understanding of child protection frameworks and experience in care planning.

Experience working in a multi-agency environment, managing casework effectively.

Knowledge of safeguarding legislation, policies, and procedures.

Experience addressing equality or diversity issues in practice.
