SEN Teaching Assistant - Work in a SEN school

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Complex Needs Teaching Assistant to join a Special Educational Needs (SEN) provision in Kingston, supporting pupils with severe and complex learning disabilities. This is a full-time role, Monday to Friday, from 8:30 AM to 3:30 PM.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide personal care support for students with varying needs.
  • Assist with feeding and mealtime routines.
  • Support sensory-based lessons and activities to promote engagement and learning.
  • Work closely with teachers and other professionals to create a nurturing and inclusive environment.

Requirements:

  • Experience working with children with severe and complex learning disabilities is preferred.
  • A patient, caring, and empathetic approach to supporting vulnerable students.
  • Ability to provide personal care, including feeding and hygiene support.
  • A passion for creating positive learning experiences for students with additional needs.

Location: Kingston (good transport links available)

Pay: £95-£100 per day, depending on experience
