Long Term Futures is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic KS2 SEN Teaching Assistant to join a fantastic primary school in Kingston upon Thames (KT10, near Claygate). This role involves supporting children with SEN in both mainstream and intervention settings, helping them access learning while promoting social and emotional development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide 1:1 and small group support to children with SEN, helping them stay engaged in learning
  • Work collaboratively with class teachers to ensure inclusive education across KS2
  • Deliver targeted interventions to support students with additional learning needs
  • Engage in sports activities and other extracurricular programs to promote teamwork and confidence
  • Assist in behaviour management, social development, and emotional regulation strategies
  • Work closely with the SENCo and school staff to implement personalised support plans

What We're Looking For:

  • Experience working with SEN students in a primary school setting
  • A passion for inclusive education and supporting children's development
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to engage students through sports and interactive learning
  • Relevant Teaching Assistant qualification (Level 2 or Level 3) is desirable
