Our client is seeking a dynamic and proactive Sales Manager to lead their sales team. The ideal candidate will be eager to mentor and develop a team within a fast-paced and technically driven environment supplying to a high end market.

Your role will be instrumental in fostering the company's growth and maintaining the reputation for quality and excellence in the archictectual interior design products market

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute yearly plans to expand the company's customer base and ensure its strong presence in the market.
  • Manage and oversee the sales team to drive sales performance, including setting sales targets and monitoring team members' performance.
  • Build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships by partnering with them and understanding their needs.
  • Manage / have oversight of delivery schedules
  • Manage / have oversight of sampling
  • Lead the sales time in promoting the business with open days, working with organisations such as BIID to develop training days and customer visits.

Key Experience Required:

  • Proven work experience as a sales manager or a similar role in the interior design . architectural or construction related industry to a high end market
  • Well spoken with excellent communication and customer facing skills
  • Excellent negotiation skills. business development and account management skills
  • Strong business sense and industry expertise.
  • Excellent mentoring, coaching, and people management skills
  • IT literate
  • Live within easy commuting distance of Kingston Upon Thames.
  • Car owner/ Driver essential
