We are currently seeking a Physics Teacher to join a supportive and dynamic secondary school in Kingston-upon-Thames, with an immediate start until July 2025. Key Responsibilities of the Physics Teacher Role:
- Delivering high-quality, engaging, and effective Physics lessons to students at Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4.
- Planning and delivering lessons that cater to a variety of learning styles, ensuring students are challenged and supported to reach their full potential.
- Creating a positive and stimulating classroom environment that fosters student engagement and encourages independent thinking.
- Assessing student progress and providing timely feedback to help students improve and succeed.
- Maintaining accurate records of student progress and contributing to the school's reporting systems.
Physics Teacher – Essential Requirements:
- 1st Class or 2:1 in a Physics degree from a top UK university.
- A UK teaching qualification such as PGCE, SCITT or Bachelor of Education (BEd) and QTS.
- Strong subject knowledge and a passion for Physics.
- Previous teaching experience at secondary or sixth form level is preferred but not essential.
- A genuine passion for inspiring students to pursue Physics and the sciences.
