Contract
We are currently looking for a cleaner to join our estates services team.
The Role:
- Provide thorough cleaning services to communal areas such as stairwells, hallways, lifts, and estate grounds.
- Ensure rubbish collection points and bins are kept clean and emptied regularly.
- Conduct regular deep cleaning of high-traffic areas.
- Identify and report maintenance issues, hazards, or repairs required on the estates.
- Work to high standards in compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Liaise with residents, estate officers, and colleagues to maintain a positive environment for all.
- Support the team with any ad-hoc duties as required.
The Candidate:
- Willngess to undergo a basic DBS check.
- Previous cleaning experience (preferably in estates or a similar environment).
- A proactive and hardworking attitude with a strong attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good communication skills and a customer-friendly approach.
- Basic understanding of health and safety practices, particularly in cleaning and waste disposal.
- Physically fit and capable of performing manual tasks (e.g., lifting/moving equipment).
