Group Travel Consultant - South West London

Group Travel within the corporate sector is booming right now … with businesses increasing budgets for conferences, incentives and event travel, there’s never been a better time to join this growing, specialist division!

We’re recruiting for a South West London based company who are adding to their rapidly growing team. This team specialise in the travel arrangements for corporate groups - the role is varied, interesting and busy- you’ll love it if you enjoy projects and planning!

Working in their office HQ, you’ll be liaising with your clients to book all forms of travel from flights to accommodation, transfers and much more. You’ll build close relationships with suppliers such as airlines and hotels and use your persuasive skills to negotiate the best group rates you can.

The company you’ll be working for prides itself on a very customer centric approach. You’ll be given all the tools you need to ensure you’re able to deliver an efficient and memorable service.

Group Travel Consultant - what we’re looking for:

  • Travel industry experience in reservations - this can be leisure, corporate or groups.

  • Ideally you’ll have used a GDS system to book air travel and hotels

  • You’ll be motivated, pro-active and enjoy being in a newly established team.

  • You’ll enjoy sales and be a natural at converting enquiries in to confirmed bookings.

  • A real team player who is keen to build a career with a company that offers brilliant benefits, personal and professional development and uncapped commission from the start!

  • Someone who’s able to be office based, Monday-Friday

  • An aptitude for learning, clear communication skills and a personable nature.
