We are seeking a dedicated Health and Social Care Lecturer to join our educational team. This role is ideal for someone passionate about health and social care, eager to impart knowledge and inspire students. Teaching qualification is not essential, making this an excellent opportunity for professionals from various backgrounds who are keen to transition into education.
Day-to-day of the role:- Deliver lectures and tutorials on health and social care topics.
- Prepare educational content such as lecture notes, slides, and additional materials.
- Engage with students to facilitate and inspire learning.
- Assess student work and provide constructive feedback.
- Participate in curriculum development meetings to ensure course relevance and effectiveness.
- Maintain student attendance records and other necessary documentation.
- Strong foundational knowledge in health and social care.
- Experience in a relevant professional role; teaching experience is advantageous but not required.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to engage and inspire students from diverse backgrounds.
- Organisational skills to manage teaching schedules and materials.
