Permanent, Part Time (0.3 - Wednesday & Fridays)

Here at Kingston College, we are now looking for a Lecturer to teach on a variety of Esports courses including but not limited to; BTEC, NCFE, Level 1, 2 and 3 courses. Esports (or electronic sports) is a term used to describe competitive video gaming.

You will take responsibility for the group tutorship of one of more of the courses within the School and contribute to the development and implementation of quality improvements as directed by the Head of Section and/or Head of School.

We’d like you to hold a degree or relevant professional qualification in an appropriate subject and hold a teaching qualification (or willing to work towards) with excellent teaching skills and experience of teaching on BTEC programmes in Esports across a range of levels.

With high personal standards and expectations, you’ll have energy, enthusiasm and passion for the subject and education, and be able to support, motivate and empathise with learners, including monitoring their progress. You’ll have links to the industry, relevant external agencies and validating bodies and have an awareness of academic quality standards.

The successful candidate will be eligible for any increase in salary as a consequence of the annual cost of living review that is due to be implemented imminently.
