We are seeking a Multi Skills Lecturer with expertise in Carpentry and Joinery to join our educational team. This role is ideal for someone with a strong background in the construction industry and a passion for teaching and developing others.

Day-to-day of the role:
  • Deliver engaging and effective training sessions in multi-skills, specifically Construction & Tiling to students at various levels.
  • Prepare lesson plans and materials based on the curriculum and industry standards.
  • Assess and evaluate students' progress and provide constructive feedback.
  • Maintain records of students' attendance, progress, and assessments.
  • Work collaboratively with other staff members to enhance the learning environment and curriculum.
  • Stay updated with the latest industry practices and integrate them into the teaching process.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Higher level qualification (Level 3 or above) in a relevant discipline.
  • Assessor Qualification (TAQA/A1 or equivalent) or commitment to work towards obtaining it.
  • Verifier Award or willingness to work towards achieving it.
  • Proven experience in the Construction industry, particularly in Carpentry and Joinery.
  • PGCE or commitment to work towards obtaining one.
  • Enhanced DBS check.
