Finance Controller, £60,000-£75,000, HybridReporting to and being supported by the European Financial Controller, you will be responsible for taking ownership of the Company's finance function, covering all areas of accounting, compliance, controls, forecasting, budgeting, and reporting. Being the senior finance position for the UK facility you will have an important role as part of and working with the UK management team.Key Responsibilities: -Supporting and liaising with European and US Colleagues, as necessary.Provide strong leadership, direction, and mentoring to the finance team and management of three direct reports. Ensure clarity of roles, key deliverables, and personal objectives.Complete the monthly reporting and preparation of Management accounts and upload them to OneStream including all necessary monthly, quarterly, and annual schedules within strict timelines.Complete and review balance sheet reconciliations ensuring all post-month-end actions are completed on time.Monitor and develop the financial and operational control environment, ensuring that the necessary internal control standards, processes, documentation, and systems are in place.Support non-financial individuals providing insight and financial information to drive improvement in operational and financial performance.Take the lead in liaising with the company's external auditors and tax advisors and ensure financial statements are completed, signed off, and filed within the agreed deadlines.Preparation, review, and implementation of the Company's transfer pricing.Management of day-to-day treasury function.Preparation and submission of VAT returns, UK government statistics, and R&D Claims.Take the UK lead on the successful implementation of all financial aspects of a new Global ERP system.Preparation of capital expenditure requests.Attributes:-CIMA / ACCA / ACA QualificationStrong technical knowledge UK Gaap.Working knowledge of financial controlsExperienced user of MS Products such as Word, Excel, and PowerPointStrong analytical and reporting capabilitiesCommercially aware.Other Beneficial Attributes: -ERP systemsOneStreamUS GaapCorporation TaxVATPayrollGreenwell Gleeson Ltd is acting as an Employment Business in relation to this vacancy.To find out more about how and why Greenwell Gleeson Ltd process your personal data in line with the data protection regime please go to the privacy notice on our website www.greenwellgleeson.co.uk
