Mitchell Adam are thrilled to announce a new part time job opportunity for a Management Accountant, located in the Dudley area. This role is ideal for you if you are a confident and diplomatic leader, one who will be able to ensure your team is both effective and thriving as a unit as this will be a key part of your duties. Previous experience as a Management Accountant is essential as you will be expected to be an expert in producing month end accounts. As you will be liaising with staff of all levels you will need to be a clear communicator and an active listener.
Some more specific duties will include: completing the management accounts packs, overseeing all company accounts, process improvement, developing budgets and financial plans as well as motivating and leading the financial team. You will be reporting directly to the Financial Controller where you will be working collaboratively.
What you'll need:
- Have worked in a similar position completing the full management accounts and ideally been exposed to supervising or managing of a small team.
- Be actively working towards your chosen professional qualification or be QBE.
- Have previous experience working in a manufacturing company, this is what this business specialises in so previous experience is essential.
- Be happy being the port of call for more junior staff, you will be expected to assist and share your expertise.
