Overview

Mitchell Adam are currently recruiting for a commercially minded Management Accountant to join our professional services client, based in the historic Black Country. Due to acquisitions and the move to group format, the reporting team has grown exponentially and is needing the talent of passionate accountants to get hands on with clients and implement change.

For the candidate we are looking for, this role will feel familiar technically, but invite opportunity in a progressive and dynamic function. Working side by side with internal financial accountants and with a range of non-financial stakeholders, you will be tasked with completing accurate monthly management reporting for your assigned entities. This will be a hands on position involving anything from ledger adjustments, revenue recognition and P&L variance through to budgeting, forecasting and providing commentary.

Skills needed

  • Be confident in your style of communication and easily build rapport with a variety of stakeholders internally, and externally.
  • Have achieved part-qualified/finalist status, and be actively studying to become qualified.
  • Be experienced across the management pack and have a full understanding of double entry bookkeeping.
  • Be looking for progression within the role and business.
