Reed Finance are supporting one of clients to appoint a new role – Management Accountant. Reporting to the Financial Controller you will have a breath of experience in Management Accountants, and ideally a background in Manufacturing.
Day to Day of the Role:
- Prepare and present accurate monthly management accounts
- Prepare and present accurate financial analysis
- Prepare and post month-end journals
- Accurate and timely financial reporting
- Drive process improvement to devlope processes and proceedures
- Working with the Financial Contoller to prepare
- Cashflow
- Forecating
- Budgeting
- Banking including foreign currency
- Expenses – overview to ensure all claims are accurate and approved
- Support the Financial Controller with year end and statutory accounts
- Work with the Auditors to enclose Audit pack is ready and queries dealt with
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- ACA/ACCA/CIMA Qualified, Part Qualified or Qualified by Experience.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, with strong skills in formulas and pivot tables.
- Ideally use of an ERP system
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to deliver accurate information promptly.
- Proactive approach to problem-solving with a challenging and inquisitive nature.
Desirable:
- Experience in Manufacturing
- Costing experience
