We are recruiting Machine Operators to work a double-day shift joining a Steel Stockholder based in Dudley. You will be responsible for material handling, operating a press machine and palletising finished products. An ongoing temporary position, ideal if you are out of work currently.
As a Machine Operator you will -
- Operate a press machine to accurately punch holes in steel tubes according to specifications
- Perform material handling tasks, including loading and unloading materials for production.
- Palletise finished products for storage ensuring proper handling and organisation
- Maintain a clean and organised work environment.
- Working in a team to meet production targets and deadlines
- Operating an FLT to manoeuvre stock around the site
Ideally for this role you will -
- Have prior experience working as a Machine Operator preferably in a steel processing environment
- Experience operating a press, or handling steel tubes, bars etc
- Have experience using an FLT and/or overhead crane (licences not required)
- Be immediately available to start a new role
On offer for this Machine Operator role -
- Days for a few weeks - 7am - 3pm Monday to Friday
- Moving on to 6am - 2pm & 2pm - 10pm rotating (you must be able to work both of these shifts)
- Hourly rate of £12.00p/h
- Weekly pay through the agency
