We are currently working with an education provider looking to appoint a Facilities Supervisor to support with the upkeep and running of their academy in Bradford.

The ideal candidate will have relevant hands on experience in building maintenance and will be responsible for the completion of the estates PPM's, H&S compliance, reporting and providing general administrative support for the facilities department. Core responsibilities for Facilities Supervisor include:

  • Support in the planning, development and organisation of systems, initiatives, procedures and policies.
  • Conduct office building inspections and manage facilities projects.
  • Carry out routine risk assessments, procedures and compliance checks and ensure any legal provisions relating to Health and Safety at work are properly adhered to.
  • Take accountability for your team's performance, managing daily work plans, actively participating in performance management conversations.
  • Provide support with general maintenance issues such as portering, grounds upkeep, replacing carpet and ceiling tiles, fitting whiteboards, changing lamps.
  • Conduct regular building checks to make sure that our buildings are clean, safe, and secure.
  • Conduct office building inspections and manage facilities projects.
  • Support out of hours on an emergency basis.

Ideal Candidate:

  • Able to demonstrate excellent working knowledge of estates maintenance and a hands on approach.
  • Excellent knowledge of IT software
  • Have an excellent organised, methodical and accurate approach to work and able to work under pressure.
  • Experience managing small teams.
  • Health & Safety qualification such as IOSH or NEBOSH qualification  (Preferred)
  • Undertake an enhanced DBS check (On offer of role)
  • Driving Licence

Role package:

  • Permanent contract
  • Salary around £35,000 (Client open to conversation)
  • 37.5 hours, 8am-4pm Mon - Fri
