Job Description: Brake Press Operator/Setter and Turret Press Operator

Position: Brake Press Operator/Setter and Turret Press OperatorLocation: Dudley, DY2 areaShift:

  • Brake Press Operator/Setter: Night Shift (Sunday-Thursday, 10:00 PM - 6:00 AM)
  • Turret Press Operator: Afternoon Shift (Monday-Thursday, 2:00 PM - 10:30 PM // Friday, 2:00 PM - 7:30 PM)Salary:

Job Summary:We are seeking skilled individuals to join our team as Brake Press Operators/Setters and Turret Press Operators for night and afternoon shifts in the Dudley, DY2 area. The ideal candidates will be responsible for operating and setting up brake press and turret press machines to produce high-quality parts according to specifications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Brake Press Operations:

    • Operate brake press machines to bend, form, and shape metal sheets.
    • Set up brake press machines according to job specifications.
    • Adjust machine settings to achieve desired results.
    • Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on equipment.
    • Ensure all products meet quality standards and specifications.
    • Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
    • Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment.
    • Collaborate with team members to meet production goals.
  • Turret Press Operations:

    • Operate turret press machines to punch, form, and shape metal sheets.
    • Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
    • Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on equipment.
    • Ensure all products meet quality standards and specifications.
    • Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment.
    • Collaborate with team members to meet production goals.

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience as a Brake Press Operator, Brake Press Setter, or Turret Press Operator.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
  • Willingness to work night or afternoon shifts and adapt to a fast-paced environment.
