My client is a reputable company in the Steel Industry located in Dudley, offering a permanent position for an experienced CNC Miller Setter.
The salary for this role ranges from £15.50 to £16.50 per hour, with working hours from Monday to Thursday, 8am to 4.15pm, and Friday, 8am to 3.30pm.
Key duties include setting and operating CNC machines, producing high-quality steel parts, and performing quality checks using gauges.
Candidates should ideally have 3 years of experience as a CNC Setter Operator in a similar environment, with CNC programming experience being advantageous.

Set and Operate CNC Machines
Machines used are Doosan, Daewoo, Mynx (Miller),Kitamura (Miller)
Produce steel parts to a high quality
Change tips and tooling
Use FANUC or MAZAK or Siemens controls
Read from basic engineering drawings
Quality check parts produced using gauges

Experience preferred but not essential for CNC Setter:

3 years served as a CNC Setter Operator in a similar environment
CNC Programming experience an advantage (training is given where required)
Ideally have Milling or Lathe experience
