Due to expansion, Next Generation are currently recruiting for an CNC Setter Operator to work with a leading global manufacturer producing machined components for the piping industry. With several divisions and a global footprint the CNC Setter Operator will be responsible for setting and operating Fanuc controlled Lathes.
The following shifts are available for the CNC Setter Operator:
- Monday - Friday (Days)

Duties of the CNC Setter Operator:
- Setting & Operating CNC lathes using Fanuc controls
- Carrying out offsets & tool changes
- Altering speeds and feeds
- Running multiple lathes at any one time
- Monitoring cycle times
- Basic machine maintenance
The successful candidate for the CNC Setter Operators position will have the following experience:
- 3 - 5 years’ experience Setting & Operating 2 axis Lathes (Essential)
- Ability to edit basic G & M codes (Desirable)
- Checking for defects & quality issues (Essential)
- Ability to manage cycle times (Essential)
- Excellent attention to detail (Essential)
