JOB – Setter / OperatorLOCATION – DudleyTERM- PermanentSALARY - £25,000-£30,000 dependent on experienceMy client specialises in the HVAC industry and are looking for a Machine Setter/Operator to join their team in Dudley on a permanent basis.The Setter/Operator will ideally have the following attributes:

Previous experience working as a Operator / Machinist / Setter
Radan Programming Experience is desired, but not essential
Sheet Metal working programming, machinery
Knowledge of LVD & Trumpf Turret Punch, and Amada TOGU Grinding machinery and tooling preferred
Time Served Apprenticeship in Engineering / Manufacturing
Have experience machining and manufacturing precision parts and components
Be able to read from engineering drawings
Have previous experience working in a similar Machine Shop environment
Be able to work well alone as well as part of a team

The Setter/Operator role will involve:

Working with machinery and producing Sheet Metal
Accurate programming, punching, and forming of Sheet Metal components
Inspecting components as required
Reading from engineering drawings
Adhering to company H&S requirements
