Pertemps Dudley are currently recruiting for a Trainee Press Brake Operator on behalf of our client in Dudley. As a Trainee Press Brake Operator, you will be trained to operate press brake machines used to bend and shape metal sheets. You will work alongside experienced operators and receive hands-on training to ensure you develop the skills necessary to excel in this role.Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist in setting up and operating press brake machines.
  • Learn to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
  • Measure and inspect finished products for accuracy and quality.
  • Perform routine machine maintenance and safety checks.
  • Adhere to all health and safety regulations and company policies.
  • Collaborate with team members to meet production targets and deadlines.
Qualifications:
  • Machine operating experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred.
  • Ability to read and understand technical documents.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
  • Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to new techniques and technologies.
