Job Title: Senior Credit Controller

Location: Dudley

Salary: £30,000 - £35,000

Top of the salary range will be offered to a candidate with extensive experience in Credit Control and managed key accounts.

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Credit Controller to take on this Senior position, with a brilliant Reed client based in Dudley. This is a fast-paced role that requires expertise! The business is well recognised and masters in their field, they are successful and consistently growing therefore this is a brand new role for them! The successful candidate will be tasked to manage the company’s largest contract and keep the cashflow under control!

Responsibilities Will Include:

  • Manage key strategic relationships related to debt at all levels both internally and externally, including with Managing Directors and Senior Directors.
  • Lead on debt reviews with Key Accounts and support Service reviews, which may include preparing presentation materials and Key Performance Indicator dashboards that are debt-related.
  • Monitor debt collection activity to ensure it is in line with customer payment terms.
  • Work closely with commercial teams to ensure all key business workstreams & processes impacting Debt (e.g., Billing/Work items) are not unduly blocking collection.

Ideally, You Will:

  • Must have previous experience in Credit Control in order to hit the ground in this role!
  • Experience working in a fast-paced environment and the ability to adapt quickly would be ideal.
  • Be a confident user of Microsoft Excel as it will be used on a daily basis. Experience with Sage would also be advantageous but is not essential.
  • Have a confident personality and be a determined and driven individual!
