Behaviour Mentor – SEMH SchoolDo you have experience supporting young people with SEMH needs as a Residential Support Worker, Behaviour Mentor or Teaching Assistant? This school is looking for a Behaviour Mentor to provide 1-2-1 mentoring for Key Stage 3 & 4 students who have struggled to engage with education.  This role required a Behaviour Mentor who has previous experience supporting young people who have faced social and academic barriers.  As a Behaviour Mentor you will be supporting the class teacher in managing class behaviour, allowing the teacher to focus on delivering lessons that stretch and engage students.  You will be working alongside teaching assistants to ensure that the needs of children are being appropriately supported and will also deliver 1-2-1 and small group intervention sessions focused on improving behaviour and attendance. This role requires a resilient, dynamic and engaging Behaviour Mentor who is passionate about breaking down barriers to education!Job Role:
  • Supporting challenging behaviours on a 1-2-1 basis
  • Working as a Behaviour Mentor / Teaching Assistant
  • Acting as a positive role model for students
