Job Description:Tradewind Recruitment seeks a KS4 Teaching Assistant to join an Secondary School in Dudley, with an immediate start. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a genuine interest in supporting student's learning and development, possess effective communication skills, and have a firm grasp of educational principles.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the classroom teacher in delivering engaging lessons and activities.
- Provide individual and small group assistance to students during learning sessions.
- Foster a positive and inclusive learning atmosphere.
- Assist students with additional needs, including those with special educational requirements.
- Participate in the preparation and organisation of learning materials.
- Contribute to the assessment and monitoring of student progress.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a school or educational setting is desirable.
- Effective communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to collaborate within a team environment.
- Patience, empathy, and a genuine interest in working with children.
