Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide one-to-one and small group support to pupils under the direction of the class teacher.
  • Assist in creating and maintaining a positive and inclusive learning environment.
  • Support pupils with special educational needs and/or disabilities (SEND) to achieve their full potential.
  • Prepare and organize resources for lessons and activities.
  • Encourage pupils' social and emotional development in line with school policies.
  • Collaborate with the wider staff team to support the school's values and objectives.

About You:We are looking for someone who:

  • Has a passion for working with children and supporting their education.
  • Demonstrates excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Is patient, empathetic, and adaptable to different learning styles and needs.
  • Holds a Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent).
  • Has experience working within a primary school setting (desirable but not essential).
  • Is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
