Job Summary:We are seeking a skilled Electrical Maintenance Engineer to ensure the efficient operation of our manufacturing equipment and electrical systems. The ideal candidate will possess a strong technical background, a problem-solving mindset, and a passion for maintaining high production standards in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct routine maintenance and troubleshooting on electrical systems and equipment.
  • Perform electrical repairs and upgrades to ensure compliance with safety and industry standards.
  • Collaborate with the production team to minimize downtime and optimize equipment performance.
  • Participate in the implementation of preventative maintenance programs.
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and repairs.
  • Assist in training and mentoring junior team members.
  • Ensure a safe working environment by adhering to health and safety regulations.

Qualifications:

  • Degree or equivalent qualification in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
  • Proven experience in electrical maintenance, preferably in a manufacturing or food production environment.
  • Strong understanding of electrical systems, PLCs, and control systems.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work well in a team.
  • Flexibility to work Monday to Friday, days only (no nights or weekends).
