About Us:The Staffing Network is currently looking for a factory operative to join our client based in DY2 area. Our client is a global leader in the manufacturing of steel products, including high-quality steel tubes for various industries. We pride ourselves on innovation, excellence, and producing world-class products. As we continue to grow, we are looking for dedicated Factory Operatives to join our team in our steel tube manufacturing facility.

Job Purpose:The Factory Operative role involves working within steel tube manufacturing line to ensure the smooth production of steel tubes. This role requires a high level of attention to detail, adherence to quality standards, and the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team. The goal is to meet production targets while maintaining safety and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate machines and equipment in the steel tube manufacturing process, ensuring efficiency and product quality.

  • Perform quality checks on steel tubes to ensure they meet the required standards.

  • Assist in the assembly and disassembly of machines and equipment as required.

  • Handle raw materials and finished products with care, following proper safety protocols.

  • Work on a fast-paced production line and maintain consistent output.

  • Follow all safety and operational guidelines to ensure a safe and efficient work environment.

  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to health and safety regulations.

  • Work in collaboration with other team members and departments to meet production goals and deadlines.

  • Report any equipment malfunctions or quality issues to the Supervisor/Team Leader.

Required Qualifications & Experience:

  • Previous experience in a manufacturing or factory environment is preferred.

  • Knowledge or experience in steel tube manufacturing is a plus but not essential.

  • Ability to operate machinery and hand tools safely and efficiently.

  • Strong attention to detail with a focus on maintaining high-quality standards.

  • Good level of English, both spoken and written.

  • Ability to work in a team and on your own initiative.

  • Good physical stamina and dexterity for handling steel tubes and working on the factory floor.

  • A proactive approach to learning and improving work processes.
