Join our dynamic and growing team as a Factory Operative in the steel industry! We are seeking hardworking individuals with experience in steel, decoiling, and slitting to join our client's team in Dudley.
As a Factory Operative, you will play a crucial role in the production process, ensuring the smooth operation of our client's state-of-the-art machinery. Your main responsibilities will include:
- Operating decoilers and slitting equipment to process steel materials efficiently and accurately.
- Safely operating cranes to move materials around the factory.
- Conducting quality checks to ensure that products meet the required standards.
- Assisting with the loading and unloading of materials.
- Maintaining a clean and organised work area.
To be successful in this role, you should have:
- Experience working with steel and operating steel processing machinery.
- A strong attention to detail and the ability to work accurately under pressure.
- The ability to safely operate cranes and other equipment.
- A proactive and positive attitude, with the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
