  • Trimming excess plastics from components as they are fed down a conveyor belt.
  • Inspecting components for defects to ensure quality standards are met..
  • Basic assembly work on small plastic components.
  • Layering leather over components with basic upholstery tasks ensuring consistency and quality.
  • Operating machinery
  • Bushing Press- inserting metal fixings into moulded components, placing moulds onto fixtures and operating press.
  • Inspecting parts delivered to site, ensuring they meet required standards as outlined in documentation.
  • Identifying faulty products to managers.
  • Quality control and general inspection.
  • Learn and operate basic controls of injection mould machinery 
  • Assist with machine setup and operation under supervision.
Hours of work consists of both Mornings and Afternoons which will rotate each week. Morning Shift: Monday to Thursday- 5.40am to 1.50pm, Friday- 5.40pm to 11.30amAfternoon Shift: Monday to Thursday- 1.40pm to 9.50pm, Friday- 11.20am to 5.10pm Early finish on a Friday (both Morning & Afternoon shifts)Hourly Rate: £11.44ph which increases to £13.17ph after 12 weeks
