REED Practice are proud to be representing an established firm of chartered accountants who have been operating in the West Midlands for over 100 years! They are looking to add an Audit Assistant Manager to their office in Dudley.

Duties of the role include but are not limited to:

  • Liaising with clients to make arrangements for the annual audit
  • Audit planning, allocating work, briefing and controlling the audit team on assignments
  • Preparation and completion of audit working papers
  • Review of working papers prepared by audit seniors / juniors
  • Preparation and review of financial statements
  • Summarising audit issues and outstanding points to managers / partners
  • Identifying internal control weaknesses and communication of weakness through the preparation of the management letter
  • Preparation of audit finalisation documents
  • Delivery of final accounts and audit documentation to clients
  • Various adhoc admin tasks such as raising fees and assisting Corporate Services Managers with admin tasks and internal processes as necessary
  • Providing training to audit seniors / juniors

Candidates must have experience working in external audit to be considered for this role.
