Role ResponsibilitiesAs an Employment Tax Manager, your role will involve:
- Delivering expert advice on employment tax matters, including PAYE, NIC, employee benefits, and expenses
- Assisting clients with employment status issues, IR35 compliance, and off-payroll working regulations
- Advising on salary sacrifice schemes, termination payments, and HMRC enquiries
- Identifying and implementing tax planning opportunities for clients
- Acting as a trusted advisor to clients while building and maintaining strong relationships
- Supporting compliance reviews and audits to ensure adherence to employment tax regulations
- Collaborating with colleagues across departments to deliver comprehensive client solutions
- Contributing to business development initiatives to expand the employment tax service offering

Candidate Requirements- CTA or ACA/ACCA qualified (or equivalent experience) with significant expertise in employment tax
- Strong technical knowledge of employment tax legislation, including IR35, PAYE, NIC, and employee benefits
- Proven ability to manage client relationships and deliver high-quality advice
- Confidence in liaising with HMRC and handling complex queries
- Commercial mindset to identify opportunities for client growth
- Excellent project management skills, including managing multiple assignments and meeting deadlines
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- £50,000 to £70,000 per annum
- Full-time, permanent role
