About the Role:

We are seeking a talented and experienced Finance Manager to join in a stand-alone capacity.The Finance Manager will be responsible for all aspects of the company's financial management, as well as HR and H&S.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Financial Management:
    • Prepare and analyze financial reports, including monthly management accounts, annual budgets, and forecasts
    • Manage the company's cash flow and ensure that all bills and invoices are paid on time
    • Oversee the company's accounting function, including payroll, VAT returns, and corporation tax
    • Prepare and submit financial information to external auditors
  • HR:
    • Manage the company's HR function, including recruitment, onboarding, training, and performance management
    • Ensure that the company complies with all employment law and HR best practices
  • H&S:
    • Develop and implement the company's H&S policy
    • Conduct regular H&S audits and risk assessments
    • Ensure that the company complies with all H&S legislation

Skills and Qualifications:

  • AAT / CCAB or QBE qualified
  • At least 5 years' experience in a similar role
  • Strong financial analysis and reporting skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proven experience in HR and H&S management
  • Experience using Sage 50 and Sage Payroll
