We are recruiting on behalf of our client, a growing and dynamic accountancy practice based in Dudley, for the role of Senior Accounts/Client Manager. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced accounting professional to take on a key role in their thriving business.

You’ll work closely with one of the firm’s partners, managing your own portfolio of clients while contributing to the development of the wider accounts team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Preparing and reviewing a variety of accounts for small to medium-sized businesses.
  • Managing and reviewing the work of the accounts team, offering constructive feedback and supporting their professional growth.
  • Taking ownership of a diverse portfolio of clients, building strong relationships, and attending client meetings.
  • Providing day-to-day support to the partners with client and team management tasks.
  • Ensuring client needs are met within set deadlines and internal budgets.
  • Maintaining high standards of quality and accuracy in all work produced.

About You:To excel in this role, you’ll need:

  • ACCA or ACA qualification (or to be qualified by experience).
  • At least 5 years of recent experience in an accountancy practice.
  • Strong knowledge of FRS102 and FRS102A.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills, with a proactive approach to client and team management.
