An established and growing accountancy firm in Dudley is looking for an Audit and Accounts Senior to join their team. This role offers an excellent opportunity for career progression within a supportive and professional environment.Role Overview

This position will primarily focus on audit work (approximately 80%), with the remaining time dedicated to accounts preparation and tax computations. You will be responsible for executing company audits efficiently across a range of clients, gaining valuable insight into their businesses and identifying areas for improvement.Key responsibilities

  • Planning audits, including risk assessment and strategy development.
  • Completing audit fieldwork, supervising and reviewing the work of junior staff.
  • Finalising audit files for director review.
  • Preparing financial statements and drafting tax computations.
  • Working closely with clients, providing expert advice and ensuring compliance with accounting standards.
  • Ongoing training and CPD support provided as necessary.

Candidate Requirements

  • ACA/ACCA fully qualified.
  • Minimum three years of practice experience, including audit planning and execution.
  • Strong technical knowledge of UK GAAP and FRS 102.
  • Experience supervising junior staff and reviewing audit work.
  • Excellent communication skills and a client-focused approach.
