This position will primarily focus on audit work (approximately 80%), with the remaining time dedicated to accounts preparation and tax computations. You will be responsible for executing company audits efficiently across a range of clients, gaining valuable insight into their businesses and identifying areas for improvement.Key responsibilities
- Planning audits, including risk assessment and strategy development.
- Completing audit fieldwork, supervising and reviewing the work of junior staff.
- Finalising audit files for director review.
- Preparing financial statements and drafting tax computations.
- Working closely with clients, providing expert advice and ensuring compliance with accounting standards.
- Ongoing training and CPD support provided as necessary.
Candidate Requirements
- ACA/ACCA fully qualified.
- Minimum three years of practice experience, including audit planning and execution.
- Strong technical knowledge of UK GAAP and FRS 102.
- Experience supervising junior staff and reviewing audit work.
- Excellent communication skills and a client-focused approach.
