Are you a Cover Supervisor seeking flexibility and a better work life balance? Empowering learning are currently recruiting for a Cover Supervisor to work in a range of Secondary schools across the black country (Wolverhampton, Sandwell and Dudley)
The ideal candidate must be able to confidently deliver the pre-planned work left by the class teacher, whilst maintaining strong behaviour and classroom management skills following the school behaviour policy.
This role will be delivering a range of general subjects across key stage 3 and 4.
Duties of a Cover Supervisor:
- Delivering the pre-planned lessons laid out by the class Teacher.
- Delivering a range of different subjects across key stage 3 and 4.
- Sole focus on delivering high quality lessons each day.
- Managing Behaviour - Building Relationships with staff, students & parents
- A person who is passionate, enthusiastic, and willing to go the extra mile to help and support children reach their maximum potential in every subject.
- Be able to work well as part of a close-knit team as well as think on your feet.
To apply for this Cover Supervisor role, you will need:
- Experience covering whole classes in a UK Secondary school.
- Good behaviour management skills and be confident following school behaviour policies.
- A substantial school reference.
- Previous experience working within a Supply Secondary School Department
