Our client are looking for a Quality Health and Safety Manager to join the team on a permanent basis.

Your first mission - to introduce a compliant ISO 9001 QMS.

Your second mission - to implement a solid health and safety culture, helping the business understand exactly what is needed for compliance.This is a small business of about 30 people, yet part of a much larger organisation, so you can be secure in the knowledge that this is a long term, permanent role with opportunities to grow as the business continue expanding.

The key here is a solid understanding of Quality and manufacturing to succeed.

Responsibilities:

  • Promote a culture of health & safety and quality throughout the organisation.
  • Report accidents and incidents, and provide support in carrying out thorough investigations.
  • Ensure that our organisation's Quality Management System is implemented and followed by all departments.
  • Act as a key contact for customer complaints and assist operations staff in their investigations.
  • Contribute to FMEAs, risk management plans, and risk management reports.

Required Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in health & safety, quality, and QMS management.
  • Experience working in accordance with ISO 9001 (ISO 13485 & ISO 14001 experience desirable).
  • Excellent knowledge of quality systems.
