Job Purpose

The careful and considerate movement of patients, in line with agreed policies and procedures.
The movement and disposal of general and clinical waste. All moves must be undertaken in line with agreed policies and procedures
The collection of soiled linen from wards, departments and, in line with agreed policies and procedures
The careful transfer of furniture and equipment, including, with direction from the appropriate Trust staff, some medical equipment
