Role: Battery Manufacturing Process Engineer

Location: Wolverhampton, UK. Need to travel other plants based on requirements

Duration: Permanent

Salary: GBP 45000/annum (Negotiable)

Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities

  • Develop and implement assembly and test processes tailored for electrification.
  • Drive continuous improvement and design for assembly.
  • Ensure robust process quality planning, including FMEAs and Control Plans
  • Evaluate and integrate manufacturing technologies suited for electrification applications.
  • Collaborate with suppliers and support new model planning with an emphasis on electrification

What You’ll Need

  • Proficiency in MS Office and strong IT skills.
  • Deep understanding of assembly processes and equipment, particularly in the context of electrification.
  • Proven experience in facility installation, commissioning, and product launch, with a focus on electrification.
  • Fluent in interpreting Electrical and Mechanical drawings as well as 2D and 3D CAD packages.
  • Strong grasp of manufacturing engineering principles with a knack for analysing engineering drawings
