Our client, a Major Steel Stockholder based in Dudley, is seeking a Maintenance Fitter for a permanent position.
The role offers an annual salary ranging from £34,000 to £40,000 depending on experience.
Candidates must have at least 5 years of experience in Mechanical Fitting or a similar environment.
Responsibilities include sourcing and repairing machinery, MIG welding, reading engineering drawings, and performing planned preventative maintenance.
Applicants should hold an NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Mechanical Maintenance and possess either a 17th or 18th Edition Electrical qualification.

Our client is a Major Steel Stockholders based in Dudley and is offering an exciting opportunity for a Maintenance Fitter looking on a permanent basis to start or further their career..Annual Salary: £34,000 to £40,000 (DOE)Weekly Hours: Mon - Fri: 6am - 2pm / 2pm - 10pm rotating shiftDuties of the Maintenance Fitter:

Sourcing & repairing Power Presses, Rolling Mills and other machines
MIG Welding and Fabrication
Read engineering drawings
Working with 3 phase electrical control systems to include contactor, inverter circuits, Motors, and Safety circuits.
Fault finding and problem solving
Planned preventative maintenance to minimise downtime
Keep an accurate log of all work carried out

Experience & Skills:

At least 5 years experience Mechanical Fitting or similar environment
NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Mechanical Maintenance or equivalent
17th or 18th Edition in Electrical
Willing to learn new skills
Self-initiative
Strong communication in a team
